What are your COVID-19 health and safety procedures?
We’ll always wear masks while completing installs.
We fill balloons with air from pumps — they’re never inflated by mouth!
We offer many options that can be installed in front yards to maximize physical distancing.
We practice regular hand washing and social distancing procedures, but because there is no data on how long the virus lives on latex (which is not plastic), we recommend you do not handle the balloon sculptures.
If we become concerned about the health of any of our staff, The Balloon Collective will suspend deliveries and new orders.
How long do balloons last?
That depends on whether the balloons are kept indoors or outdoors! Indoors, you can expect helium balloons to float 12-24 hours and air-filled balloons to last anywhere from two days to a month!
Outdoor balloons have a much shorter lifespan (12 hours outdoors, maximum) and should be enjoyed the same day they are installed. In particular, the following will cause issues for outdoor balloon installations:
High humidity
High winds
High temperatures
Rain (balloons can be installed in the rain, but will not last once rain has dried)
Once we’ve inflated balloons (usually 24 hours before delivery), we are unable to offer weather-related refunds. To get maximum enjoyment from your balloons, we recommend choosing light colors and scheduling delivery right before you need them!
