About Us!

Hi there! We’re Nate the Great and Stacy Pineapple, and we’re the balloon power couple behind The Balloon Collective. We chose the name as a nod to our vision, which is to unite talented balloon artists and arts practitioners from around the U.S. (and the world!) to create balloon sculptures that blow your mind and make you laugh with delight.

Nate is the balloon badass with 15+ years of latex-sculpting experience, and Stacy Pineapple is our organizational and strategy superwoman. However, we BOTH share a love of bringing people joy, strengthening our community, and fostering arts innovation. To that end, we teach at balloon conventions, participate in local Austin arts projects like the Austin Maker Faire, the Let’s Hopscotch project, and the Austin Pride Parade, and we travel! We’ve flown as far as Australia and China to build balloon masterpieces.

During the COVID-19 crisis, we’re staying closer to home and working to build no-contact balloon deliveries and balloon yard art that brings joy to our Austin, Texas community. Thanks for dropping by, and if you’ve got a project you think we can help with — reach out! We’d love to hear from you.
